Human Dignity

Human dignity isn’t derived from secular society, but from Judeo-Christian scriptures. According to the Bible, there are no mere mortals. All humans inherit the image and likeness of God, which motivates us to treat everyone with respect.

This perspective of human dignity is the foundation of such institutions as individual liberty, private property, contracts, law, universities, hospitals and charity. We serve people in honor of the God who created them and loves them regardless of their spiritual condition and eternal destiny.

One Response to Human Dignity

  • Herbert Orr says:

The book of Revelations chapter 5 v 9-10 about Jesus: “And they sang a new song saying: “Thou art worthy to take the book and open the seals thereof: For Thou was slain and has redeemed us to God by thy blood: out of every kindred. and tongue, and people and nations: and has made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth.” (This covers all mankind as you state.)
