You have read the Bible and you know we win in the end, but what
will happen
between now and then? The Bible is much clearer than many people
realize.
Although the world system is collapsing, God is in control -- his plan
is
on schedule.
This book draws on Larry Fox's twenty years of Bible research and
observation of world trends. It is an in-depth Bible study that
develops a comprehensive view of the future, offering perspectives on
religious, political, military, economic and cosmic changes. It shows
how world events and scientific discoveries reinforce the Bible's
message of the end times.
The Supernatural Natural can change the way you look at the
world and the future. Be sure to read the final chapter!

Comments from Readers
"I enjoyed reading your book. There are many parallels to my view in
your
book, though I have been unwilling to be as detailed in interpretation
as
you. Most importantly, we share the view on the 7th trumpet pre-wrath
rapture
parallel to the Exodus through the sea. Also, the Passover-Exodus
parallels
are extraordinary." -- Dan Juster, senior minister of Beth Messiah
Congregation
(Gaithersburg, MD), speaker and author (Revelation: the Passover Key
and Jewish Roots, a Foundation of Biblical Theology plus many
others).
"You have obviously put a great deal of thought into this work. Your
work
demonstrates a tremendous amount of background research in several
fields
of knowledge. I have done extensive reading on this subject and have
never
seen this kind of material brought together in one place." -- JWR (CPA)
"I've never read a book that has had such an impact on myself and my
Christian
walk.... The evidence you present is so clear, precise and easy to
understand!
A real eye opener as to what we as Christians are about to face in the
not
too distant future. Every Christian should read this book, it's so
enlightening
and powerful! ... I feel stronger as a Christian for knowing what's
ahead."
-- DSB (college student)
"Larry's background as an engineer allows him a scientific
perspective ... [and] his daily walk with God ... has given him a deep
spiritual insight. This merging of scientific with spiritual results in
a fantastic study of
the Bible." -- WOC (Chemist)
"It was very clear [Larry] had spent much time in Bible study and
research on this subject. He was well prepared to present his
interpretation of the
scriptures and always had scripture to back up everything he said. I
now
understand this subject much better and see many scriptures in a
different
light." -- EMS (retired)
"Larry has tied the events of recorded history, the studies of
science and the truth of scripture together. Thank you, Larry, for all
the time and
energy spent in our behalf." -- AS (housewife)

Chapter Summaries
The following are brief chapter summaries from The Supernatural
Natural.
1. Identifying the Day of the Lord
In this chapter, we examine scriptures that define the Day of the Lord
and
events that will precede it.
2. The Final Human Empire
The Old and New Testaments give us several images of the empires
affecting Israel: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome
and an unidentified future empire (which I have called the Final Human
Empire). We examine the
likely origin of that empire and its leader, whom I call the Chairman.
That
empire will have worldwide military authority and will use its power
against
many nations, including Israel. It will also harass and kill
Christians.
3. Israel and the United Nations
The United Nations Security Council seems preoccupied with Israel, a
tiny
country with a population of only five million. Security Council
resolutions
censure and condemn Israel repeatedly, at times for simply maintaining
law
and order within its borders. In this chapter, we compare the UN
Charter
and the Bible, and summarize of 45 years of events that have created
ideal
conditions for the birth and operation of the Final Human Empire. We
examine
the UN's demands on Israel and why Israel cannot comply.
4. World Powers
America does not have a major role in the end times unless it is a
significant
part of the Final Human Empire. It probably will continue to exist as a
nation,
but it will not have the worldwide influence it has had since the
Second
World War. We develop a likely scenario for America's future.
Islam will continue to influence Arab and maybe Russian policies
toward Israel. Islam is the Arabic religion and may be the most
militant religion in the world. Muslims will not tolerate Israel's
occupation of their holy places and what they consider their land.
Another Arab assault on Israel seems
inevitable.
The communistic Soviet Union became a commonwealth of socialistic
republics, but this may reflect only a slight relaxing of policies. The
chapter on the
Beginning of Birth Pains examines some of Russia's future military
ventures.
5. The Beginning of Birth Pains
The first period of the last days is the Beginning of Birth Pains,
which
suggests that events during that interval will increase in severity and
frequency
until the Lord returns. It is possible the interval began with the
rebirth
of Israel in 1948. Scripture does not give a specific length for the
interval.
In this chapter, we examine the detailed descriptions of events that
will
characterize this period.
6. The Great Tribulation
One of the worst problem areas the Final Human Empire will address is
the
Middle East and Israel will be considered the source of the trouble.
The
Chairman will send the coalition forces in his command to crush Israel
because
of its persistent disregard for the demands of the world community.
Those
Israelis who do not escape to the mountains will experience the most
severe
distress ever experienced by mankind; this is the Great Tribulation.
Severe
religious persecution began during the Beginning of Birth Pains and
will
continue throughout the world; Christians will not be immune.
7. Cosmic Disturbance
There will be a disastrous cosmic disturbance between the Great
Tribulation and the Day of the Lord. People around the world will be in
anguish because of the danger, totally helpless and fainting from
terror. There is plenty of biblical and historical evidence that such
events have happened in the past, resulting in widespread destruction
and loss of life.
8. The Day of the Lord
A major cosmic disturbance marks the beginning of the Day of the Lord.
A
short time later, the Lord appears in the sky to gather the Church and
the
world mourns. God then pours his wrath out on the earth.
9. An End-time Summary
This chapter summarizes the events of the end times, as developed in
the
previous chapters.
10. Anticipating Jesus
If we become preoccupied with end-time events, we very naturally become
concerned
for our safety and well-being. But will those times be any harder for
us?
Maybe not. We must expect and depend on Jesus' involvement in our
lives.
Anticipate his will being accomplished, his limitation of Satan, his
daily
care, his strength, his call to deny yourself, and his return.
