Personal Declaration

I openly confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord.1 Through his death, burial and resurrection, I’m free from the law of sin and death, and by his wounds I have been healed.2

I’m a child of God, a citizen of his kingdom, and an alien to this world system.3 His kingdom and righteousness are my top priorities.4 I don’t love this corrupt and decaying world or anything in it.5 Because I’m dead to the world,6 its basic principles no longer control me and I’ll keep myself from being polluted by it.7 God made me Christ’s ambassador and a minister of the new covenant, and committed his message of reconciliation to me.8 Therefore, I am the light of this world.9

The Holy Spirit lives in me and I have faith in Jesus, so I will do what he did.10 I’ll spread the gospel, make disciples of Jesus, and teach them to obey everything he commanded. In his name, I’ll drive out demons and heal the sick.11 I have authority to overcome all the power of the enemy and nothing will harm me.12 In the power of the Holy Spirit, I’ll continue Jesus’ task of destroying the enemy’s work.13

I’m a servant of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and all God’s people as to the Lord.14 I’ll do what the Bible says and the good works God prepared for me to do.15 I’ll use the spiritual gifts he gave me for the benefit of others.16

I’m an heir of God with Christ and I will share in Christ’s sufferings that I may also share in his glory.17 I’ll not conform any longer to this world’s pattern and standards, but transform myself by renewing my mind. I’ll offer my body as a living sacrifice in spiritual worship.18

I’ll think about that which is true, excellent, and praiseworthy.19 I’ll say only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs.20 I’ll conduct myself in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ and set an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.21 I’ll fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith.22 I’ll stand firm and do the Lord’s work with all my heart.23

God works everything together for my good, preparing an eternal glory for me according to his will, so I choose not to be anxious about anything.24 Instead, I choose to be thankful in all circumstances and allow God to use them to make me more like Jesus.25

The Lord himself will come down from heaven and catch me up with all other believers to meet him in the air. Then I’ll be with him forever.26

I’m Blessed by God

God has blessed me by loving me, choosing me, forgiving me, saving me, justifying me, and protecting me.1 Nothing will separate me from his love.2 He chose me to be holy and blameless in his sight, and predestined me to be his child.3 Now I’m a citizen of heaven, seated in the heavenly realms.4

Jesus blessed me by laying aside his divine nature to become like me so he could pay the price for my sins.5 My sins are forgiven through his blood and I’m healed by his wounds.6 I’ll be blessed beyond imagination when he returns for me.7

God blessed me by placing his Holy Spirit in me as a guarantee of my inheritance.8 The Holy Spirit teaches me all things and guides me into all truth.9 He gives me abilities I can use to serve others and be effective in life.10 He helps me develop godly character traits.11 He even intercedes for me when I don’t know how to pray.12

God blesses me by giving me peace to guard my heart and mind.13 He lavishes his grace, wisdom and understanding on me.14 He gives me every good and perfect gift, and sends his angels to serve me.15

God blesses me by enabling me to reign in life, crush Satan under my feet, and be more than a conqueror.16 He works everything together for my good.17 He’s keeping me strong to the end, and blesses me in the heavenly realm with every spiritual blessing.18

God blesses me by giving me far more than I need to excel in every good work, and making me rich in every way so I can be generous on every occasion.19 He enables me to thrive in every situation.20

God blesses me by giving me everything I need for life and godliness.21 He enables me to share in his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption.22 He causes my tests to develop perseverance in me, making me mature and complete, so I’ll receive the crown of life.23 He’s purifying me of everything that’s not like him.24

I’m Blessed Because of What I Do

God is merciful toward me as I’m merciful toward others, and forgives me as I forgive others.1 I inherit blessing because I bless those who insult me.2 I’m more blessed when I give than when I receive.3 As I make God’s kingdom and righteousness my top priorities, he provides everything I need.4 I’m blessed when I persevere under trial.5

I’m Blessed Because of What Happens to Me

I’m blessed and have great reward in heaven if I suffer for what’s right, or I’m insulted, persecuted or slandered because of Christ.1 If I’m persecuted because of righteousness, the kingdom of heaven is mine.2
